Abstract
Coronary artery perforation (CAP) is an infrequent yet potentially life-threatening complication of percutaneous coronary intervention. We report, for the first time, two cases of successful closure of guidewire-induced distal CAP with silk suture embolization using a microcatheter. This technique appears to be safe, simple, and effective for the treatment of distal guidewire perforations, even in refractory cases.Entities:
