Abstract
The Schedule for the Deficit Syndrome (SDS) is an instrument for categorizing schizophrenic patients into those with and those without the deficit syndrome. In a study of 40 schizophrenic patients diagnosed by DSM-III criteria, raters using the SDS demonstrated good interrater reliability for this categorization, as well as for individual negative symptoms and a rating of global severity.Entities:
