Gunshot wounds to the globe and orbit require careful evaluation and management. This article highlights five cases of penetrating gunshot injuries, each demonstrating different points to consider when managing the severely traumatized patient. Immediate and late complications are described. Missile velocities of different weapons are detailed, and the mechanism of injury is discussed.
