Abstract
This study explored the diversity and phylogeny of rhizobia collected from nodules of Sphaerophysa salsula in different geographical regions of Northwest China. The 16S rRNA gene sequences divided the strains into the following distinct groups: Mesorhizobium, Rhizobium and Shinella. The phylogenies of recA and atpD genes showed low correlation with nifH and nodA gene in most species, which indicated that, the gene recombination between species and genera might have been exist. To our knowledge, this is the first study using the multilocus sequencing analysis Sphaerophysa rhizobia in order to understand the relation between genetic diversity and ecology.Entities:
