Abstract
The patient was a 29-year-old woman who was evaluated by a physical therapist in a direct-access capacity for an enlarged distal phalanx on the fourth digit of her left hand. After discussing the patient's presentation with an orthopaedic hand surgeon due to concern for nonmusculoskeletal pathology, radiographs were ordered and findings were thought to be consistent with an enchondroma, which is a benign lesion commonly seen in the hand.Entities:
