Abstract
As a result of better control of communicable diseases in the developing countries, life expectancy at birth has risen and the population is increasingly becoming exposed to higher cancer risks. This brief communication shows that the cumulative cancer incidence rate estimated for the age range equivalent to average life span is a suitable index for health planners to determine priorities in the allocation of funds for cancer control.Entities:
