Abstract
Mouse bone marrow cells cultured with GM-CSF are often used to generate dendritic cells (DCs); in this issue of Immunity, Helft et al. (2015) show that this classical method produces heterogeneous populations of myeloid cells that are only distantly related to macrophages and DCs found in vivo.Entities:
