Abstract
A 33-year-old woman treated for carcinoid tumor developed severe hypoxaemia. This hypoxaemia may have been related to an extracardiac right-to-left shunt. The pathogenic role of vasoactive agents is discussed and comparisons made with cirrhosis-associated hypoxaemia.Entities:
