Abstract
A case of a patient with a middle fossa mass that was considered to be either a metastatic lesion or a benign intracranial neoplasm is presented. The definitive management of the patient depended on a tissue diagnosis. A biopsy was obtained using a transfacial needle aspiration technique through the foramen ovale.
