Transient diabetes insipidus following listeria meningitis.

A E Sloane.

Abstract

Disorders of ADH secretion associated with meningitis are usually consistent with the Syndrome of Inappropriate Antidiuretic Hormone Secretion (SIADH). This reports an unusual case of central diabetes insipidus following SIADH secondary to listeria monocytogenes meningitis in a neonate.
