Abstract
Circadian rhythm involves diurnal oscillations in biological processes. In this issue of Cell Host & Microbe, Leone et al. (2015) show that the gut microbiota influences the circadian clock and undergoes circadian oscillations. Microbiota-produced metabolites change with host diet and may affect circadian rhythm, highlighting functional links between diet and physiology.Entities:
