Abstract
Osteonecrosis of the distal tibial metaphysis following a Salter-Harris type-2 injury is a rare complication with no previous reports in the literature. We report a case of osteonecrosis of the metaphysis in distal tibia, confirmed radiologically and histologically. The natural history was followed with serial MRI scans and we comment on the possible pathophysiology.Entities:
