Abstract
Calcitonin gene-related peptide receptors are known to be present in the placenta. We studied the effect of alpha- or beta-calcitonin gene-related peptide or carrier on human chorionic plate arteries preconstricted with angiotensin II. Both forms of calcitonin gene-related peptides evoked dose-dependent relaxation, the magnitude of which was proportional to the initial response to angiotensin II.Entities:
