U.S.A., 13 years later.

In October 1974, after living in Baltimore for 16 years, I went back to my home town, Belo Horizonte, in the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil. By then I was a citizen of the United States and a Board Certified Psychiatrist, and I wanted to bring back there some of what I had learned here. In 1987 I returned to the United States, and I want to set down my impressions of what has happened here since I left.
