Abstract
Until recently, the reason for age-dependent immune clearance of hepatitis B virus remained elusive. A new study has revealed that establishment of the commensal gut microbiota could modulate the liver immunity phenotype in a hydrodynamic transfection mouse model, suggesting that natural gut-liver interactions can help achieve rapid viral clearance.Entities:
