Abstract
We report three patients waiting for heart transplantation who suddenly worsened clinically. All three explanted hearts showed a myocarditis with a dense eosinophilic infiltrate. Follow-up biopsies and necropsies showed no further evidence of cardiac eosinophilic infiltrates. The possible relationship between drugs administered before transplantation and clinico-pathological findings is discussed.Entities:
