Interest in JCHIMP continues to grow. With the 2,284 new unique visitors in February (highest monthly total to date), we have had 4,000 plus new readers over the last 2 months, bringing our total unique individuals to 39,000.In this issue we are publishing 10 manuscripts originating in Reading (PA), Easton (PA), St. Joseph (MI), Baystate (MD), University of Miami, Case (OH), GBMC (MD), MedStar Union Memorial (MD), and Florence, Italy. A survey of residents showed they were less likely than primary care practitioners to be in concordance with guidelines published by the American Thyroid Association (1). A profile of Latino patients in Dade County, Florida, demonstrated that poorly controlled diabetes was very common and associated with depression and medication non-adherence (2). There are two medical education quality improvement papers: the Modified Early Warning System (MEWS) (3) and an accompanying editorial (4), and the Transitions of Care Rotation (TRACER) outcomes paper (5).There are four case reports: shoulder weakness secondary to a precentral gyrus stroke (6); a dramatic case with images of acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (7); tracheoesophageal fistula following neck surgery (8); and a brief report with image demonstrating Frank's sign associated with vascular disease (9). There is also a letter to the editor from Italy pointing out ethnic differences in risks for cardiac amyloid in southern Europe in comparison to individuals from a Maryland site published in January (10).
