Abstract
We report a rare clinical presentation of childhood Hodgkin lymphoma with immune thrombocytopenia. Diagnostic biopsy of the abdominal mass was performed after administration of intravenous immunoglobulins, steroids, and platelet transfusion. Concomitant thrombocytopenia complicated the whole diagnosis work up and the initial management of neoplasia.Entities:
