Abstract
A recent study shows that green light emission by Neonothopanus gardneri mushrooms, endemic to coconut forests of Northern Brazil, is controlled by a circadian clock. Furthermore, insects are attracted by the light, raising the possibility that bioluminescence functions in spore dispersal and fungal dissemination.Entities:
