Abstract
Bacillus sp. A053, isolated from the Arctic seawater, shows strong antifungal activity against plant pathogenic fungi. Here, we report the draft sequence of the approximately 4.1-Mbp genome of this strain. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first genome sequence of Bacillus strain isolated from the Arctic seawater with antifungal activity. The genome sequence may provide fundamental molecular information on elucidating the metabolic pathway of antimicrobial compound in this strain.Entities:
