Abstract
The mechanism of the shortening of the cardiac action potential by cyanide was studied in guinea-pig ventricular myocytes using a two micro-electrode voltage clamp technique. It is shown that the shortening can be counteracted by glucose and is due to a marked increase in K conductance.Entities:
