Fig. 152 year-old male patient presents with unruptured ACoA aneurysm. The lesion is posteriorly directed, and the aneurysm angle was 98.2°. A : Working projection of the aneurysm. B : The microcatheter is steam-shaped in the left 'S' shape, and introduced into the aneurysm without guidance of a wire. The first frame coil is inserted through the microcatheter. C : Lateral view of fluoroscopy shows a subsequent coil was stably inserted into the aneurysm. D : Completion angiogram showed that the aneurysm is completely occluded preserving the ACoA. This lesion has been followed up for 3 years, and there is no evidence of recanalization. ACoA : anterior communicating artery.

Numbers in parentheses are percentages. *p values derived from Fisher's exact test for dichotomous and categorical variables and the Student t-test for continuous variables. ACoA : anterior communicating artery
Initial angiographic outcomes according to dome direction and aneurysm angle

Fig. 2Kaplan-Meire analysis demonstrates the proportion of patients without major recanalization during follow-up.
