Abstract
Musculoskeletal injuries are the second most common cause of presentation to emergency departments. Distal radius fractures are an especially common injury pattern that often require evaluation and fracture management in an emergency department. This article reviews the evaluation of distal radius fractures including physical examination and radiographic review. Also discussed is management of distal radius fractures including splinting in the setting of an emergency department consultation.Entities:
