Abstract

Two patients are presented with extradural empyema originating from the frontal sinus. The infection spread was in the first case via the diploic veins through the intact sinus wall, and in the second case after the destruction of the posterior wall of frontal sinus. The early diagnosis methods and surgical drainage are discussed. Braid scan and Computed tomography are the most useful methods for the evaluation of this pathology.
