Abstract
The Contegra bovine jugular vein conduit (Medtronic, Minneapolis, MN) is one of the most widely used grafts for surgical reconstruction of the right ventricular outflow tract in both pediatric and adult patients with congenital heart disease. In this report, we describe a case of acute dissection of a neointimal peel in a Contegra conduit resulting in conduit stenosis and death of a child.Entities:
