Sir, We thank the authors for their interest in our article.[12] We welcome their inputs and opinion. We would like to reiterate that these observations apply to “idiopathic” macular holes and that case selection is important. Factors favoring re-surgery would likely include high hole forming factor, reduced basal diameter of macular hole following primary surgery and the presence of “cuff of subretinal fluid.”
