Abstract
In this study, the first complete mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) sequence of Cacopsylla coccinae was determined by long PCR and primer walking methods. The complete mitochondrial genome is 14,832 bp in length and contains 13 protein-coding genes, 2 ribosomal RNA genes, 22 transfer RNA genes as well as a control region. The overall base composition of the genome is A (38.16%), T (33.88%), C (17.95%) and G (10.01%). Stop codon was incomplete for coxII gene and ND1 gene. The gene overlaps were suggested between 13 pairs of the contiguous genes in C. coccinae. The mitogenome would contribute to resolving phylogenetic position and interrelationships of Cacopsylla.Entities:
