Abstract
In this paper we will provide our personal viewpoint on the current provision of orthodontic education and discuss the need for further developments. This will include training relevant to the following: (i) student dentists, (ii) specialists, and (iii) general practitioners: particularly those who wish to develop an interest in orthodontics. We will attempt to take into account the many changes in methods of delivery of care, the changing demands of the public for high quality treatment and the influence of the curricula produced by the General Dental Council (GDC).Mesh:
