Abstract
A series of 2-(3'-indolyl)tetrahydrofurans have been prepared by a DDQ-mediated oxidative cycloetherification process. Performing the reaction under biphasic conditions prevents reductive cleavage of the products by the spent oxidant (DDQH2).Entities:
