[Delicate management of gastric cancer surgery process and surgical quality control].

Xiang Hu1.

Abstract

The incidence of gastric cancer and the mortality are high in China. Because of the special location of organs and complex lymphatic drainage, the treatment outcomes are variable. Other factors that restrict the treatment effects include heterogeneous malignant biological profiles, socioeconomic status, and treatment. D2 lymphadenectomy had been established as the mainstream of standard surgical treatment and showed favorable outcomes. It is demonstrated that evidence based medicine, delicate management of gastric cancer surgery process and quality control help to improve the treatment outcomes and benefit patients maximally.
