Abstract
Thirteen cases of juvenile angiofibroma were treated surgically with preoperative embolisation. One case occurred in a female. Embolisation significantly reduced blood loss and allowed complete surgical removal of the tumour in all cases. No significant complications occurred. Preoperative embolisation should be employed routinely in the surgical management of these patients.Entities:
