Abstract
Meaningful prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD) requires prolongation of life to age 90 or 100 free of morbid events. This requires early detection of the CVD phenotypes and effective treatment to slow their progression. We present a strategy for screening and evaluation of the population that should accomplish that goal with potential benefits on both cost and cardiovascular health. Studies to document the effectiveness of this strategy are urgently needed.Entities:
