Abstract
The history of mandibulotomy is reviewed. The surgical steps involved and the variations of techniques are discussed. Two illustrative cases are reported and the clinical applications of the approach are discussed. It is concluded that mandibulotomy has a place in the management of malignancies as well as awkwardly situated benign lesions as well as malignancies.Entities:
