Abstract
A novel synthetic route gives access to mesoionic carbene and cyclopropenylidene supported gold chloride complexes. The corresponding cationic MIC-gold complex obtained by chloride abstraction allows for the first transition metal-catalyzed functionalization of both nitrogens of parent hydrazine.Entities:
