Abstract
We demonstrate that recent observed increases in cell permeation activity of cyclic peptides via transporter sequences is due to the underlying phase behavior of peptide-lipid complexes and its relation to the topological requirement of membrane permeation. We also show how these effects can be amplified by incorporating hydrophobicity in these sequences.Entities:
