Sir, We would like to discuss on the publication on “175Yb-TTHMP for bone pain palliation.”[1] Safarzadeh proposed “175Yb-TTHMP can be a good candidate for bone pain palliation and substitute of other radiopharmaceuticals.”[1] The production of 175Yb is the first consideration. Since preparation of 175Yb requires specific standard atomic chemistry center, it might be limited prepared and distributed for actual clinical usage.[2] Second, since 175Yb is rather limited study, its actual effect and adverse effect are still unknown. Dosage that can be problematic has never been clarified, and this is an issue for further studying.[3] Finally, to control of bone pain, not only finding the new palliative agent but also the good holistic care, including psychological support, is needed.[4]
