Abstract
We report the clinical outcome of an elderly man with knee osteoarthritis (OA) accompanied with recurring severe joint pain. He had no history of trauma to the affected knee. Plain radiographs and magnetic resonance imaging uncovered rapid and severe bone deformity, which likely led to the patient's progressed radiographic OA. These findings indicate that a pathophysiology of OA may be bone alterations.Entities:
