Abstract
Landry-Guillain-Barré-Strohl syndrome (LGBS) in pregnancy is a rare event previously reported on only 29 times. Both cases reported on here were associated with cytomegalovirus infection. The fetus did not appear to be affected by the paralyzing agent in LGBS, although sequelae of the cytomegalovirus could occur later. Aggressive, long-term care is necessary to minimize maternal morbidity.Entities:
