Abstract
Treatment strategies for metastatic melanoma have changed markedly in recent times due to the advent of targeted systemic therapies. In addition to these developments, surgery remains a useful adjunct that can confer survival benefits in selected patients. In this review, we examine the current literature to highlight the role of surgical intervention in metastatic melanoma in the era of targeted systemic therapies.Entities:
