Abstract
Posttransplant lymphoproliferative disorder (PTLD) is a well-known complication associated with the transplant recipient. We chronicle a case of PTLD in a failed graft presenting as a small bowel obstruction in a pancreas-only transplant patient. While typical symptoms may be elusive in the complex immunosuppressed patient, graft pain along with persistent graft pancreatitis and a positive Epstein-Barr viremia should raise suspicion for an underlying PTLD.Entities:
