Abstract
Bladder and calyceal diverticula are rare clinical entities in the pediatric population. Most of these diverticula are asymptomatic, incidentally detected, and may not require surgical intervention. However, if surgery is indicated, there are minimally invasive treatment options available that have success rates comparable with those of traditional open surgery. In addition, they offer several advantages including reduced morbidity, decreased hospital length of stay, improved cosmesis, and reduced pain medication requirements. In this review, the minimally invasive surgical techniques in the management of bladder and calyceal diverticula are discussed.Entities:
