Superior vena caval resection in lung cancer.

Dong-Seok D Lee1, Raja M Flores2.

Abstract

Lung cancer with involvement of the SVC is uncommon but presents a unique management challenge. Discovery of N2 disease should be given its due diligence and these patients should undergo induction therapy. Patients can attain favorable long-term outcomes with surgery, but they need to be carefully selected at specialized centers. Published by Elsevier Inc.
