Abstract
A 72-year-old man presented with complaints of sudden abdominal pain and vomiting. After a thorough examination, the patient was diagnosed with a left-sided Bochdalek hernia with strangulation of the stomach and spleen. The impaction was cleared by drainage of the stomach contents by a nasogastric tube;then, surgical repair through thoracic approach was performed. The herinia port size was large, and the defect of diaphragm was successfully repaired by both direct closure and mesh reconstruction.Entities:
