Abstract
Angiotensin II (AII) activates rat myometrium phospholipase C resulting in the hydrolysis of phosphoinositides. The response to AII is concentration- and time-dependent, and it is blocked by saralasin. During pregnancy there is a loss of responsiveness to AII at the site of placental implantation that appears to return during parturition.Entities:
