Abstract
C6 rat glioma cells persistently infected with subacute sclerosing panencephalitis virus (C6/SSPE) were treated with measles antiserum and purified anti-measles IgG. This stimulated phosphoinositide breakdown and an increase in inositol phosphates. In uninfected C6 cells, however, only fetal calf serum (FCS), but not measles antiserum could induce inositol polyphosphate production.Entities:
