Abstract
A literature review was conducted with a view to propose a new definition for burnout syndrome (BS) among university students, as a two-dimensional syndrome, where the two essential or core dimensions of BS are student exhaustion and student apathy and disinterest. It eliminates the third dimension of efficacy or academic self-efficacy in the specific case of students for not meeting the situational and conceptual requirements of the syndrome per se.Entities:
