Abstract
Giant cell interstitial pneumonia (GIP)-like pulmonary alterations as a special form of condensate pneumopathy may result following inhalation of certain types of tobacco smoke which can cause a pitfall diagnosis of sideropneumoconiosis or hard metal lung disease. Exact information regarding the patient occupation and smoking history and especially regarding the origin of the cigarettes helps to clarify the findings.Entities:
