Abstract
Endobronchial Watanabe spigot is a device used to occlude bronchus for a variety of indications. It has been recently used for endobronchial occlusion for hemoptysis. However, its application is not always easy, particularly if the bleeding is originating from the upper lobes. To facilitate its placement, we developed a new technique using a guidewire and a custom-made spigot. We report a case of massive hemoptysis from a left lung cancer describing this new approach.Entities:
