Abstract
Patients, health care providers, and payers depend on practical, efficient, and useful tests that can be performed in a clinical setting in order to measure accurately and to diagnose lymphedema. Accurate measures are also necessary to monitor progression or regression of the disease, as well as treatment effects. This article reviews clinical measures of lymphedema that are currently being utilized. In addition, this article proposes an alternative objective measure, different from limb volume, that quantifies tissue texture.Entities:
