PPI treatment comprised esomeprazole 40 mg once daily for 2 weeks. Mean (95% CI) domain and item discomfort scores of the GSRS are shown. The degree of discomfort was rated on a 7-point Likert scale (1, no discomfort at all; 7, very severe discomfort).
